Hall Hire at Victoria Hall, Higher Bebington

Victoria Hall is a welcoming community venue in the heart of Higher Bebington, offering bright, flexible spaces ideal for local groups, clubs, societies and community events. Whether you run a fitness class, choir rehearsal, craft workshop or residents’ meeting, we have a room that’s the right size and setup for your activity.

Please note: our halls are available for community group use only – we’re not currently taking bookings for private parties, celebrations or similar events.

The Village Hall

Our largest and most versatile space, The Village Hall measures 167.9 m² and features a sprung wooden floor that’s perfect for exercise, dance or stage activities.

Capacity: up to 220 theatre-style or 150 seated at tables
Excellent acoustics and lighting
Direct access through to the Jubilee Hall
Suitable for larger community gatherings, rehearsals and performances
Original windows that enhance light and character

The sprung floor makes it particularly popular with dance, yoga and exercise groups, as well as community meetings and charity events needing a comfortable open layout.

Jubilee Hall

Adjacent to the Village Hall, Jubilee Hall provides a more intimate but still generous 78.4 m² space with a solid floor and room for up to 100 people (loose seating).

Exhibition Room

Our Exhibition Room offers a compact 32 m² space that suits smaller gatherings, displays or meetings. It has direct access to a refreshments area (5.2 m²) equipped with running hot water and washing-up facilities, making it convenient for workshops, training sessions, or community drop-ins where a light kitchen setup is needed.

Our Facilities

Professional Catering Kitchen

Fully equipped 31.9 m² professional kitchen with an electric range cooker, high-speed dishwasher (3-minute cycle / up to 500 dishes per hour), and extensive work surfaces to support community events and catering needs.

Parking

There’s extensive parking in Acorn Close car park, a shared private facility with Riverside Housing. Limited additional parking is also available on Victoria Hall Walk.

Wheelchair Access

Automatic doors lead from Victoria Hall Walk directly into the central reception hall, providing easy, level access for wheelchair users and those with mobility needs.

Toilets

The hall includes accessible toilets with baby-changing facilities, as well as separate male and female toilets off the central reception area. An additional unisex toilet is located in the Village Hall entrance lobby.

Hearing Loops

Both the Village Hall and Jubilee Hall are equipped with hearing loop systems, ensuring clear sound and better accessibility for hearing aid users.
